I went to falo, a producer of the famous shop mondo in Jiyugaoka. The kitchen is surrounded by counters, giving a great sense of presence. If you like open kitchen, you will definitely like it. The signboard dish is Porchetta baked for one hour. The chef cooks the Italian version of the fireside with a twisted headband. After all, if you do it over charcoal, the taste will be much higher.

ã™ã¹ã¦ãŒãŠã„ã—ã„!! Well worthy of its inclusion in the Michelin Guide. An amazing experience watching the chef cook on open wood coal flames. Make sure this is included in your Tokyo Fine Dining list. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Very delicious Italian/Japanese food. Our lack speaking Japanese wasn't a barrier, everyone was very nice and accommodating. We loved it.

Great Japanese Italian food in a cool atmosphere with an open kitchen and charcoal grill. Service was excellent and almost every dish we had was delicious. There's a 300 yen per person table charge that comes with a tasting of their gazpacho. My wife and I ordered the corn pana cotta with sea urchin, squid ink rice croquettes, grilled mackerel (sanma), lasagna, grilled lamb, Genovese pasta, and bread. The bread we got was a little burnt and the pasta tasted a little different from the pesto we're used to but was cooked perfectly al dente. Every other dish was amazing. My wife, who typically doesn't like mackerel, found that fish to be very good too. We got the zabaione ice cream for dessert which was OK. Overall, we had a great experience and would come back.We also came by on a Wednesday night at 7:30 PM without reservations and they were able to seat us without any problems. There were 8 other diners that night and I think the restaurant seats about 25.

A unique experience unlike any I’ve had. They welcomed us with a translated menu that had all the chef recommendations, including the salmon roe toast and venison with mushrooms (both pictured). We also tried the duck, and it was superb (and a little on the spicy side, which was a pleasant surprise). watching them prepare and assemble artful meals is a mesmerizing experience, especially when all sorts of meat are marinated over the coals and you get to see the cooking process. We also tried the milk gelato for dessert and it tasted just like Hokkaido milk ice cream, except the texture was much creamier. Definitely give them a try, but call to make a reservation!

Really interesting experience and food. Went here after reading about it as being a top Tokyo restaurant in Condé Nast Traveler Magazine. The fire pit and intimate setting make reservations a must. the food is tapas style to share, but decently priced and very unusual to anything else we had while in Japan. highly recommend.

This place is amazing the uni with tofu is a must have. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend coming here for dinner. They are pretty booked so i suggest you make a reservation. This is one of the best meals i had in japan!

Charcoal grilled Japanese-Italian fusion dishes. Unique combination of ingredients, all tasty. Good selection of wines and stylish, cozy atmosphere. But with respect to its portion, I would say it's overpriced.

Somewhat disappointing that their signature dish (the porchetta) is not more available to order at 7:45pm. I had no idea it was to be ordered in advance. I get it, it's special, you need to create demand and desire, but to run out of piggy before 8pm is a bit annoying. The rest was quite ok, but nothing outstanding either (wine pours were borderline anemic). I guess I am upset I did not get to try the porchetta ðŸ–.

Falò in Daikanyama..I love watching cooking and this restaurant has open kitchen and using charcoal looks fantastic! :) they don't offer course which I like but their food is all good !!!!! They also have a variety of wine. This became one of my favorite restaurant 🤗..ë‚´ê°€ 좋아 하는 오픈 키친 ì—ì„œ 요리 하는 모습 ì„ ë³¼ 수 있어 눈 ì´ ì¼ë‹¨ ì¦ê²ê³ ì´íƒˆë¦¬ì•ˆ ë ˆìŠ¤í† ëž‘ ì—서는 드문 숯불 ì´ìš©? í•´ì„œ ë§Œë“ ìœ ë‹ˆí¬ í•˜ê³ ë§›ë‚œ ìŒì‹ 들 ê³¼ 여러 종류 ì˜ ì™€ì¸ ë„ ìžˆì—ˆë‹¤ (ìˆ ëª» 마시는 관계 ë¡œ ë””í…Œì¼ ì œê³µ ì–´ë ¤ì›€ ã…‹)..A restaurant I've been into lately. It's the best place where you can enjoy the open kitchen right in front of you by ordering your favorite food by offering it à la carte instead of the course. Reservation required because it is famous because it has already been introduced in various media 🙃💕

Amazing Italian jap fusion cuisine, with an amazing decor to boot. The mains are mostly cooked over a charcoal fire in the middle of the bar which makes for an interesting and entertaining night out!
